![]() ![]() The account setup was pretty easy and enjoyable although finding out after signing my certificate that it still would take 1 - 3 business days to verify my account was a bit disappointing but I get it. Like everyone I was very excited to start rounding up sadly I never had the opportunity to experience any of the feature sets this app has to offer. This app has since solved my problem, turns out they were simply experiencing a serious backlog to new accounts looking forward to the weeks ahead to see how much I can round up on my card transactions. ![]() I’m on the brink of losing my business because the funds was to buy supplies and pay workers, I lost faith in this bank and I regret opening an account with them I wish I’d known better. Btw please complete my transaction to my linked account and stop holding peoples money. I’m writing a review here for people to know how they treat customers and they should work on their customer support. As I’m writing this review now my account is still locked and they didn’t complete the last transaction I sent to my linked bank, every time I call Customer service, they’d tell me they are reviewing my documents, How long does it take to review documents? I don’t understand why I need to review again because you’d need to upload a Government issued ID before Opening an account. this app bank gave me another option to send the bank statements of my linked account, screenshots of the first 2 transactions and my ID( Drivers license) which I did. I’m rating Acorns 1 star because of poor customer service, I received a relief grant to support my business in my this app checking account, After the first 2 transactions(12/6 and 12/7) to my linked account, Acorn bank decided to lock my account for review, I got an email for a 3 way call with the linked bank which I did call almost everyday for 3 weeks because we were unable to reach the representatives of my linked bank account which is not my fault because this app representatives initiated all calls to my linked bank. Why are they being so extra? Why are they not investing my money properly? Idk. Most apps, whether it’s a bank or another investing app, provide you with your statements without having to do the extra work. Plus, needing me to log onto a desktop just to see my statements is, once again, very annoying. It seemed like a good app when I first got it, but now I’m feeling like it’s not putting my money to good use. I think the best feature is the roundup investments, it lets me save by keeping the change. I’m thinking of canceling this app because it’s honestly not working for me anymore. Idk what this app is doing with my money, but it’s not really investing the way it can. I have waaaay more money in this app than I do in Robinhood, yet I managed to make more with less. Whereas I’ve had this app for almost a year and the most I ever gained in investing is $35. I’m not sure why it’s set up that way, but it’s annoying.Īlso, I have used Robinhood for 2 months, and in those 2 months I gained over $70 in stocks/investing. You cant go online from your phone and do it, you have to use a desktop. It’s quite annoying considering I don’t always have a desktop around when I’m doing my finances. I have to physically get on a desktop computer in order to see my statements. One thing that truly gets under my skin is that I can’t review my statements from Acorns. I’ve been a member since 2019 and for the most part I’m okay with Acorns. Pricing: Acorns Personal for $3/month and Acorns Family for $5/month.
